Writing free verse poetry while daily walking led Maureen Armstrong to depart to China to teach conversation in English as a Foreign Language. From Tongcheng, situated in the Province of Anhui, Maureen begins writing memoirs with free verses, lifestyle experiences, and later fiction stories.
Simply said, Maureen became Irish from her grandparents’ emigration from Northern Ireland to Canada, and to later obtain a Republic of Ireland passport. Maureen has a degree in social work from University of Calgary, and certificate in family mediation from Justice Institute of British Columbia.
